Ellen Arden is an Atlanta-based photographer and creative director working across live music, artist campaigns, and editorial.

Her work centers on performance and presence —capturing the intensity of live shows alongside more controlled, narrative-driven portraiture. With a background in both photography and film production, she approaches artists with a balance of instinct and structure, creating images that feel immediate without losing intention. Her practice also incorporates alternative photographic processes, bringing a tactile, analog edge to contemporary music portfolio.

Arden is the creative director and lead photographer for Frequency ATL, where she leads visual direction and contributes editorial coverage of emerging and touring artists. Through the publication, she works closely with publicists, managers, and bands to deliver consistent, high-quality coverage across live galleries, interviews, and features.
